Job Description Job Description Location: Conroe, TXSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (minimal overtime)Employment Type: Temp to HireJob Summary:Agency 8 is partnering with a well-established control panel design and fabrication company to hire an Electrical Designer (AutoCAD Electrical) . This role will support the design and documentation of control panels, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with both customer specifications and industry standards.The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical and a strong understanding of electrical controls and panel design. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team with exposure to diverse projects and long-term growth potential.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD ElectricalCollaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure designs are accurate and manufacturableDesign and redesign OEM and custom control panels based on project requirementsGenerate clear and accurate documentation for assembly and commissioningEnsure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specificationsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to design processes and documentationQualifications3+ years of electrical design experience, preferably with control panelsProficiency in AutoCAD Electrical requiredStrong understanding of electrical controls, schematics, and panel layoutsKnowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standardsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and within a team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working in control panel fabrication or industrial environmentsExposure to multi-industry projects (manufacturing, O&G, automation, etc.)Willingness to grow within a design and engineering-focused teamCompany Description Agency 8 is a Recruiting and Staffing company that specializes in filling business-related positions.
