They take pride in connecting with customers, answering questions, offering solutions, and sharing expert advice on lawn and landscape care.What You'll Do:As a Lawn Spray Technician, you'll:Identify and resolve issues in turf and landscape healthApply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides safely and accuratelyFollow all product label instructions and company procedures, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and care.Follow all safety protocols and label instructionsEducating customers on lawn care, watering practices and service optionsPerform core aeration on lawnsSafely operate a company truck and trailer while completing daily routesFollowing completion of our paid training program, team members typically work independently, supported by a dependable field and administrative team. Most days begin at 7:00 AM at our Conroe warehouse, Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed, where they receive their schedules, prepare their trucks and trailers, and perform safety checks before heading out on their routes. Overtime is provided for hours worked beyond forty in a week.ConsiderationsReliable, hardworking, and dependable, with a strong work ethicAbility to work independently and efficiently manage daily service routesInterest in or experience with lawn care, landscaping, or agricultureWillingness to learn and apply lawn treatment techniques safely and effectivelyStrong customer service and communication skillsTeam members must routinely:Stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periodsNavigate uneven terrainRoutinely push and pull required equipmentOperate spray hoses, spreaders and core aeration machineryMust be able to lift minimum of 50 poundsPosition requires physical strength, endurance, and manual dexterity.Minimum QualificationsTo meet company, insurance, and regulatory standards, successful applicants must:Meet all federal requirements for permanent employment in the U.S.Valid, Texas driver's license and clean driving record required and maintainedHave a clean driving record with no moving violations or accidents within the past five yearsBe at least 24 years of age (and meet company commercial insurance requirements)Pass a comprehensive criminal background check with no felony or misdemeanor convictionsPass a drug screeningBe able to lift at least 50 pounds regularlyWithstand prolonged physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and liftingSafely operate a truck and trailerReside within a 30-minute drive of our Conroe warehouseBe available to work some Saturdays as neededStrong communication and customer service skillsProfessional demeanor and self-motivated attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMechanically inclined (basic understanding of equipment/vehicle maintenance is a plus)Detail-oriented and able to follow safety and procedural guidelinesTeam members in this role perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions—from extreme heat to cold.For safety, all personnel in our field production department are required to wear full uniforms including long-sleeved shirts, pants, hat, gloves and rubber boots.Compensation and BenefitsTeam members receive competitive hourly compensation, with starting pay ranging from $17 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.In addition to competitive wages, team members enjoy paid holidays in accordance with company policy.After completing one year of employment, team members become eligible to receive one-week paid vacation time.The company also offers performance-based pay increases, as well as discretionary bonuses to recognize individual contributions and overall performance.Company Description Since 1977, A-Perm-O-Green Lawn has been dedicated to cultivating healthy, vibrant lawns and landscapes.
