The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring products and processes meet established quality standards, reviewing documentation, and supporting audits to maintain compliance and consistency across production.Job Type: Temp-to-HirePay Rate: $23.00–$26.00/hourBenefits: Excellent benefits available after the successful completion of the temporary period, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.Quality Control Specialist Responsibilities:Review production documentation including drawings, specifications, work orders, and change documentation for accuracy and completenessVerify products and processes meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry guidelinesPerform routine quality inspections and audits on manufacturing processes and finished goodsConduct floor checks and walkthroughs to monitor work in progress and identify quality or safety concernsDocument findings and maintain organized records of inspections, audits, and corrective actionsIdentify non-conformances and partner with operations teams to implement corrective solutionsSupport continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends and recommending process enhancementsParticipate in meetings with internal teams to address quality issues and drive resolutionAssist with internal and external audits as neededOther duties as assignedQuality Control Specialist Skills and Abilities:Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and defectsSolid organizational skills, especially with documentation and recordkeepingAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with shifting prioritiesBasic computer skills, including data entry and working within quality or production systemsStrong written communication skills; technical writing experience is a plusAnalytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problemsAbility to collaborate effectively with production and leadership teamsQuality Control Specialist Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within manufacturing is strongly preferredExperience working with production documentation, inspections, or audits requiredTechnical training or certifications are a plusMinimum of 2 years of related experience preferredQuality Control Specialist – Immediate need.
