The Senior VDC Engineer is responsible for task and project level management, implementation, and execution of McCarthys Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, tools and best practices within their assigned projects. The Senior VDC Engineer reports to the VDC Manager or next highest position. RESPONSIBILITIES - General Application. Promote a culture of virtual building among all internal and external stakeholders. Project and task-level execution of VDC functions including BIM Execution planning, BIM Coordination, 3 D modeling, 2 D drawing production, 3 D printing, laser scanning, drone flights and photogrammetry. Develop BIM Execution Plan attachments for tasks and projects assigned and ensure all contributions are aligned with overall intent of the project plan and related contract documents.
