CNC Setup Operator. Pay Rate: $25 - $28/hr DOE - Schedule: 5 am to 4:30 pm, M-F, Some Saturdays as required,OT: Averages 10 hrs/week. Location: Spring, TX 77388 Overview:Responsible for preparing and setting up CNC machines, such as CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components according to detailed specifications. CNC Programing is not required. Verifies that CNC machines are properly setup for the production of API threads. Perform design validation inspections on thread elements to verify compliance. Duties and Responsibilities:Read blueprint, job order & tooling instructions for production requirements. Setup CNC/ Threading machine for production. Machine parts to required specifications. Ability to perform threading of coupling material to specified requirements. Suggest machining methods to improve job efficiency. Visibly inspect and monitor carbide inserts.
