Handyman

Schulde: 6am - 2:30pm Pay: $14 hourly Temp to Hire Full-time: 40 hours

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of warehouse facilities, equipment, and surrounding areas. This role ensures that the facility remains safe, functional, and operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

General Facility Maintenance

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs inside and outside the warehouse - Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas - Assist with general upkeep of the building and property - Repair doors, fences, walls, and structural components as needed - Fix minor plumbing issues (leaks, pipes, restroom fixtures, etc.) - Perform basic electrical repairs (lighting, outlets, switches non-certified work) - Address general wear and tear issues throughout the facility - Paint walls, floors, and designated areas as needed - Maintain parking lot markings and striping - Perform touch-ups and surface repairs - Cut grass and maintain landscaping around the facility - Keep exterior areas clean and free of debris - Assist with drainage and outdoor maintenance tasks - Assist with preparation of warehouse areas for operations - Move materials, equipment, or furniture when needed - Support minor installations or adjustments within the warehouse - Repair and maintain restroom fixtures - Replace damaged pipes or resolve minor water-related issues

Qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and tools - Experience in warehouse or facility maintenance preferred - Ability to perform physical work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) - Ability to use hand tools and basic equipment - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Work Environment:

- Indoor and outdoor work - Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures - Physical and hands-on role
