Description:

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an Active Ingredient Tech II to support the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic cleanroom environment. This role involves working with virus and cell culture techniques while ensuring strict compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and collaboration within a team to support efficient and compliant production operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic cleanroom environment Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with USDA regulations Maintain accurate and timely documentation of production processes and technical data Assist in training and coaching new and existing team members Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions Escalate production issues and support resolution of process disturbances Support continuous improvement initiatives and performance assessments (AAI) Contribute to site projects, deviation management, and change control activities Demonstrate commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth production operations REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of cleanroom operations and aseptic techniques Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles Strong organizational and time management skills Basic math and troubleshooting skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong problem-solving abilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field 1+ year of laboratory and/or manufacturing experience Education: Bachelors Degree
