Job Title: Quality Manager - Manufacturing (AS9100 / Aerospace) Location: Syracuse, NY (Greater Area) Pay: $75,000 – $90,000 per year Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM About the Role: Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a Quality Manager for a growing manufacturer near Syracuse, NY. Key Responsibilities: Quality Operations: Oversee all plant quality activities and ensure strict adherence to protocol procedures. Customer Quality Management: Lead customer-specific quality activities, including PDQR, FAIR, and CAR. Vendor Compliance: Manage vendor-specific quality activities and conduct certification audits. Internal Quality Control: Oversee CMM quality checks, SPC charting, and gauge calibration. Audit Leadership: Manage and maintain compliance for critical audits, including AS9100 and NadCap. Leadership: Collaborate with the management team to improve production standards and shop efficiency. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: AAS or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining processes and AS9100 standards is highly preferred. Audit Experience: Familiarity with NadCap or similar high-precision quality frameworks is a plus.
