Our business has sufficiently grown over the years to support expansion for our clients. We have produced control packages for many of America's top corporations in the chemical, environmental, food, pulp and paper, rubber, petroleum, pharmaceutical, glass, metals, and utilities industries. We also deliver equipment for use worldwide. Our rigorous methodology assures compliance with domestic and international standards. We can meet the needs of our diverse clientele from start to finish through sales, design, fabrication, testing, and delivery.

Since 1957, we have been known for our high-quality, custom-built control packages, our comprehensive service, and our technological and manufacturing expertise. This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently.

The Manager Logistics will lead end-to-end logistics with a primary focus on outbound execution and special load management, while establishing a scalable inbound logistics model anchored by a 3PL strategy. This role is critical to enabling 5X growth in a private equity-backed environment by building robust, cost-efficient, and highly reliable logistics capabilities across both inbound and outbound flows.

The role requires strong expertise in engineered-to-order shipments, oversized freight, and the design of a 3PL-enabled inbound network that improves material flow, reduces working capital, and supports production scalability.

Job Duties:

  • Own end-to-end outbound logistics (plant to customer/job site delivery)
  • Build a scalable logistics operating model (inbound + outbound) to support 5X growth
  • Establish a 3PL-enabled inbound network to streamline supplier flows and reduce plant complexity
  • Deliver best-in-class outbound execution for engineered and special load shipments
  • Drive cost productivity, service reliability, and process standardization
  • Design and implement a 3PL-based inbound logistics model (regional hubs, consolidation centers, cross-docks)
  • Build and manage a diversified carrier network (parcel, LTL, FTL, flatbed, heavy haul)
  • Lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and rate benchmarking
  • Optimize mode selection and routing across inbound and outbound flows
  • Optimize dock operations, staging, and throughput for both inbound and outbound
  • Implement and optimize TMS capabilities for both inbound and outbound planning
  • Partner with Procurement to enforce inbound routing compliance and supplier performance
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to align material availability with production schedules
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, import/export (if applicable), and load securement standards
  • Build and lead a high-performing logistics team across inbound and outbound functions
  • Drive accountability through KPI-based performance management
  • Establish a culture of operational discipline and continuous improvement
