Description
Your Role at a Glance
- Competency in evaluating equipment function design and impact on operation or maintainability.
- Lean manufacturing tools 5s, value stream mapping, process center-lining, standard work.
- Coach and train on lathe's operational functions to determine equipment produces a high-quality product.
- Extensive knowledge of precision equipment including dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, CMM, or other measuring instruments to ensure conformity throughout the manufacturing process.
- Thorough understanding or best maintenance practices for Mori and Okuma Lathes.
- Possess elevated level of safety awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and adjust priorities, as necessary.
- Review and execute weekly maintenance schedule.
- Ensure accurate recorded histories in work order completions.
- Develop and execute training plan for maintenance workers.
- Update inventories and other supplies as needed.

- High School or GED. Twenty-four months of education and training on CNC lathe operations or maintenance and repair, or a closely related area.
- Two years' experience at minimum required in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures, we would prefer the experience to be on CNC equipment.
- Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background, drug, and work screen.
- Must be available to work; day shift, rotating weekend duty, and 24/7 support.
