The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) provides subject matter expertise for office of fleet management, fleet vehicle service center, maintenance & accident management division, maintenance & repair, and vendor management section.

Job Duties

  • Lead analysis of national vendor performance across maintenance, repair, towing, glass, and related services, using data to improve program performance and advance fleet operational goals. Applies qualitative and quantitative methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of vendor networks, contract compliance, pricing models, service delivery outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics tied to service quality and cost-competitiveness, and produce market intelligence reports analyzing repair industry trends and pricing fluctuations.
  • Provide authoritative guidance on vendor management and fleet maintenance standards, researches complex issues, and assesses vendor risk (financial stability, service reliability, regulatory compliance).
  • Develop and maintain internal and vendor-facing guidance, procedures, and best-practice tools/templates related to vendors, and designs improvements to vendor management processes.
  • Collaborates closely with internal fleet offices, including Maintenance & Repair, Accident Management, Compliance, and Customer Service Fleet Center, to ensure vendor networks meet operational needs and customer expectations.
