Installation Technician

Together, Spectrum by Watchfire continues to set new standards across K16 education, municipal, professional sports, and recreational facilities. The Installation Technician is a key member in the installation department, responsible for delivering and assembling our products for customers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Unpack, mount, align, and secure indoor/outdoor scoreboards & LED displays
  • Run conduit, cabling, and manage power/data connections
  • Adhere to local building codes, zoning and permitting
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory relating to installation
  • Perform post-install testing to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after installation
  • NOTE: This role will include travel, overnight stay, and weekend availability

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in electrical, AV, or signage installation preferred
  • Ability to work with power tools at heights utilizing ladders and lifts
  • Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
  • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift over 50lbs in various weather conditions
  • Must have a Valid Driver
