Description:

Electronics Bench Repair Technician

Designa Access Corporation is seeking a skilled Electronics Bench Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electronic devices at the component level. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet high-quality standards and are repaired efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 years of experience in electronic repair, including circuit boards and power supplies.
  • Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Strong soldering skills (SMD and through-hole).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices, circuits, and components.
  • Perform testing and calibration of repaired equipment using standard tools and procedures.
  • Analyze schematics, technical manuals, and other documentation to identify issues.
  • Solder and desolder components, including surface-mount devices (SMD) and through-hole parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, including parts used and time spent.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with inventory management of spare parts and tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24 - $30 / Hour based on Experience

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (8 am - 5 pm)

Education:

  • Associates or Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Experience repairing specific devices, such as medical equipment, audio-visual systems, industrial electronics, or parking equipment.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or microcontrollers.
  • IPC Certification (e.g., IPC-7711/7721 or J-STD-001) (Preferred)
