Job Summary:
This position collaborates with the Laboratory and Medical Directors to ensure high-quality laboratory testing in compliance with established policies, procedures, and CAP/COLA/CLIA standards. It also works closely with the Director of Operations to support and advance strategic business initiatives.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Master's degree in a related life science discipline is required; PhD is highly preferred.
• Relevant experience in cytology, histopathology, immunocytochemistry, or diagnostic imaging strongly preferred.
• Experience in regulated, clinical, or high complexity laboratory environments (CLIA/CAP) is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Microscopy & Image Analysis
• Perform tumor cell enumeration and analysis using multi-channel fluorescence imaging.
• Interpret fluorescent images across multiple channels, distinguishing true cellular signals from background, debris, or nonspecific staining.
• Apply standardized enumeration rules and reporting criteria for rare-event detection.

• Experience with fluorescent microscopy and multi-channel image analysis.
• Ability to interpret cellular morphology and perform rare-event detection.
• Proficiency with image analysis software (any professional platform acceptable, e.g., Bioview Encore and/or DeNovo, Zeiss, Olympus, Celigo).
• Understanding of clinical laboratory operations and high complexity testing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve operational and technical issues and implement workflow improvements.
