A respected and long-established defense litigation firm is seeking a Personal Injury Defense Attorney to join its Houston office.

Role:

• Focus on the defense of third-party personal injury claims
• Work on matters involving:
• product defect
• construction defect
• catastrophic injury
• Use broader civil litigation skills including:
• motion practice
• pleadings
• court appearances
• general litigation strategy
• Join a busy and growing team

Compensation & Structure

• Salary up to $180,000, depending on experience
• 1,900 billable hours

What They're Looking For

• 2–5 years of relevant experience, with openness to considering stronger candidates with 6–8 years
• Experience defending product defect, construction defect, or catastrophic injury claims
• Strong skills in motion practice, pleadings, and court readiness
• Texas bar admission or eligibility
• Prior deposition or trial experience is a plus
• Someone who can contribute quickly in a busy defense practice

Location:

Houston – generally 4 days per week in office, with some flexibility depending on the candidate and team
