Inventory Planner - Lead Inventory Planner Lead

We are seeking a high-impact Inventory Planner to support our Demand & Inventory Planning Transformation. This role is critical to execute North America Planning activities for a business unit, improve inventory efficiency, and strengthening alignment between demand, operations, and financial performance. The Inventory Planner will drive data-driven decision-making, execute standardized planning processes, and proactively manage inventory risksincluding slow-moving inventory, redeployment opportunities, and forecast misalignmentto improve service reliability and optimize working capital. You will be part of a strategic transformation that is redefining how inventory planning supports the businessleveraging data, technology, and stronger cross-functional alignment to drive measurable impact on performance and cost.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize inventory to balance per business outlook
  • Lead slow-moving and surplus inventory analysis and drive corrective actions (redeploy, return, scrap)
  • Identify and execute redeployment opportunities across locations
  • Partner with Demand Planners & PSL teams to improve forecast alignment
  • Use data and inventory planning tools (e.g., SAP, CCH Tagetik) to drive exception-based planning
  • Contribute to standardized processes and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with strategic vendors (internal and external) to reduce lead times, create stocking strategies, mitigate past dues and stockouts

Profile and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 37+ years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or operations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, inventory optimization, and root-cause analysis
  • Experience with ERP and inventory planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CCH Tagetik)
  • Ability to manage complex datasets and translate insights into actions
  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders
