Executive Assistant to the CEO

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide direct support to our CEO and help drive key organizational initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys working at the intersection of leadership, operations, and community impact.

In this position, you'll play a critical role in supporting executive operations, coordinating board activities, and contributing to fundraising and development efforts. You'll also serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including board members, donors, and community partners.

Executive Support

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, and travel logistics
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials
  • Track priorities and follow up on key action items
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders

Board & Governance

  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agendas and materials
  • Prepare board packets and record meeting minutes
  • Maintain governance documents and support board communications
  • Assist with onboarding new board members

Fundraising & Development

  • Support fundraising initiatives and donor engagement efforts
  • Assist with donor communications, acknowledgments, and reporting
  • Maintain and update donor records in CRM systems
  • Help coordinate fundraising events and community engagement activities

Events & Projects

  • Provide logistical support for meetings, events, and special projects
  • Assist with cross-functional initiatives and organizational priorities

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of executive administrative experience (nonprofit experience preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms

Work Environment
