About the Role

The Electrical Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, and implementing electrical control systems, including embedded software and PLC programming, HMI development, and electrical schematic design for cutting-edge construction machinery.

Must be fluent in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Design & Programming: Develop and maintain machine control programs (PLC and embedded) and HMI interfaces.
• Electrical Design: Create and review detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials (BOM).
• System Integration: Integrate sensors, actuators, and hydraulic systems with electrical controls.
• Testing & Commissioning: Perform on-site testing, debugging, and commissioning of control systems on construction machinery.
• Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve electrical and software issues in both workshop and field environments.
• Documentation: Generate technical documentation, including operation manuals, test reports, and engineering specifications.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical design and automation, PLC and/or embedded software programming, preferably with construction or industrial machinery.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of industrial networks (CAN, J1939, Ethernet/IP) and BEV driven electrical power system.
• Design Tools: Strong skills in controls software and electrical drawing.
