Global Payroll Director

Houston, TX (Mon–Thurs office-based)

$200-250,000 Base +35% bonus +LTIP +Relocation support (c.$400K Total Package)

We're supporting a large, highly stable North American organization operating in a recession-resistant, essential services industry.

This is a major enterprise business with a significant footprint across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico, known for its long-tenured workforce, grounded leadership team, and strong internal culture.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, high-impact leadership role with ownership of payroll across a large, complex, multi-jurisdiction workforce.

• Oversight of payroll across multiple countries and jurisdictions
• Operating within a Finance-led shared services environment
• Balance of BAU leadership, governance, and transformation
• Leading on controls, compliance, and payroll integrity
• Partnering closely with Finance, HR, Tax, Legal, and Audit
• Driving payroll strategy aligned to growth, acquisitions, and system evolution

Key Considerations

• 4 days per week in office (Houston)
