Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship (HR/Payroll focus)Initial 12mth contractLocationHouston, TX (Hybrid)We have partnered up with a global industrial systems company, on a niche opportunity! This contractor will be assisting our client with PWA (IRA specific) HR/Payroll activities and is ideally someone that has a knowledge of PWA requirements and compliance already.Must be very detailed, an effective communicator, strong acumen with systems/ data and payroll reporting. The process is evolving for our client, as they only began having contractual obligations on PWA recently.As such, the ideal person can be agile in what is still in ‘build' and excels at process development.ResponsibilitiesTracking and coordinating with PMs on current and future projects with PWA provisions, including weekly status updates – there are many projects to trackDOL labor classification/ rate requests per project – submitted by project and scopeMaintenance and compliance with prevailing wage requirementsApprenticeship compliance and all associated coordination with the requirements – managing thresholds, coordinating job postings and search where applicableMaintenance and submittal of weekly payroll records per clientMaintenance and submittal of weekly hours reports per clientStay abreast of PWA requirements, changes, and future planning/ adjustmentsCoordination of our client's ASP (sub-contractor) reporting requirements, educating on process, coordinating with client and compliance.Experience/BackgroundExtensive understand of PWA requirements and compliance.Ideally someone who has worked within the HR / Payroll functionDetail orientatedSystem – ADP and Oracle (these are a plus)Strong Microsoft user, specifically Excel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
