Description:

The HT Group is partnering with a reputable law firm to hire a detail-oriented Bonds Assistant to support the preparation and management of bond transcripts and related legal documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely delivery of materials in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who brings strong attention to detail, sharp editing and proofreading skills, and a solid administrative background. No prior law firm experience required.

Comp: 60-70k base

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and assemble bond transcripts and supporting legal documents with a high degree of accuracy
  • Review and proofread materials for consistency, completeness, and formatting standards
  • Coordinate the distribution of finalized documents and draft transmittal correspondence
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Partner with internal teams and external consultants to gather information and resolve outstanding items
  • Support contract review processes, including monitoring requests and tracking updates
  • Assist with board meeting logistics, including scheduling and preparation of materials
  • Maintain organized records across document management systems and update client information as neede

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and file-sharing tools
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Experience working with legal, financial, or transactional documents preferred
  • Highly organized with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • No prior law firm experience required
