Goode Company Meat Cutter

You're precise, dependable, and take pride in doing things right. As a Meat Cutter, you're at the heart of the guest experience-slicing, plating, and packaging top-quality cuts with skill and care. You keep things sharp (literally and figuratively) while delivering fast, friendly service every time. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with guests in a fun and pleasant manner
• Explain our menu to guests thoroughly and efficiently
• Setup and breakdown of meat cutter stations
• Cutting and prepping meat
• Maintaining food safety standards
• Cleaning and sanitizing workstations
• Plate or package food items timely and professionally
• Communicate guests needs to line servers and assisting team members on the serving line
• Help to stock wood safely and efficiently
• Present a professional and clean appearance at all times
• Communicate food needs to kitchen prep staff and pit staff
• Communicate effectively with cashiers to ensure guests' needs are met
• Communicate any maintenance issues to managers as soon as noticed
• Communicate any needs to management needed to be able to perform the job as expected

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
• Must take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be accountable to yourself and to our customers.
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• Must have had experience in a BBQ restaurant for at least 6 months preparing and slicing smoked meats including brisket, sausage, chicken, ribs and turkey
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to speak and read English, Spanish a plus
• Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
• Able to lift and carry up to 25lbs
• Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler Certified
