Manufacturing Technician

Description:

Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to support production operations within a new, state-of-the-art energy manufacturing facility. This role is critical during facility ramp-up, supporting equipment startup, operator training, process stability, and production readiness

You will play a key role in manufacturing high-quality electrical products such as transformers, switchgear, and related energy systems, while helping build a strong, safety-first production culture.

Type of Role: Direct Hire

Shift / Hours: Day Shift

Location: Houston, TX

Salary: $49,000 – $71,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate manufacturing equipment, tooling, and workstations
  • Support processes such as:
  • Core processing
  • Winding
  • Mechanical & electrical assembly
  • Final assembly, drying, and filling
  • Monitor and adjust processes to maintain quality and efficiency
  • Support equipment startup, commissioning, and process improvements
  • Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and work instructions
  • Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Identify defects and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
  • Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in:
  • Manufacturing / production environments
  • Electrical or mechanical assembly
  • Transformer, switchgear, or heavy industrial manufacturing
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Experience with inspection and measurement tools
  • Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability

  • Requirement: MUST be a U.S. Citizen
  • Training: 3–4 weeks in Europe (Everything is covered but must be able to travel for the training) approximated travel dates are: (June 22 – July 17, 2026)
