Dock Coordinator (Nights)Location: Houston, (Northpoint), TX, US, 77038 Job Location: 4800 Houston, TX (NorthPoint) Work days/Shift Hoursif applicable: Sunday - Thursday / 5:00 PM until finished. Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $20.65 to $26.07 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.General Purpose Direct workforce in the coordination of inbound and outbound activities for daily warehouse operations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirect inbounds to specific dock or area to unloadDirect hi-lo drivers where to put product that is being unloaded (pick area, area A,B,C, to POS cage, etc.)Accurately document inbound / outbound activitiesValidate IBT's for accuracy and complianceCoordinate workload of hi-lo drivers - Assign inbound / outbound activitiesCoordinate staging of built palletsCheck delivery drivers in and out during load-in/load-outVerify ASN pallets for accuracyMaintain cleanliness of work areasInspect condition of trailers and tractorsVerify product for destructionCommunicate performance issues to SupervisorsOversee safety of dock areaCoordinate pallets/shells/recycling returns to ProductionBe the Point of Contact for Carriers/VendorsTrack carriers in/out timesAssign picking tasks to available resources (i.e. side load / bulk/OFS)Receive / create IBT's in SAPAssist in Maintaining the OOS table in POD and communicating to floorSequence loads to teams / employees in PODView warehouse stock reports ( DSI reports )Coordinate trailers to docks for outbound loading (bulk / OFS)Assign inbound / outbound activities to Hi-Lo driversQualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED requiredBachelor's degree preferredAbility to trouble shoot and problem solveGood analytical, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skillsProficient with PC systems and software applicationsAbility to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionAbility to attend to detail and handle multiple concurrent tasks in meeting various deadlinesStrong verbal and written communications skillsAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsAbility to read and recognize pick product labels, invoices, and other shipping/receiving papersDelegating Ability to pick up technical/computer system knowledge quicklyCustomer FocusedStrong Conflict Resolution skillsStrong Leadership skills/ability (Motivate, Decisive, Influencing)Applicants with disabilities may be entitled to reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and certain Texas or local laws.
