A national leader in manufacturing gaskets, plastics, rail seals, and other sealing products is seeking a Powder Blender/ Machine Operator to prepare and mix raw materials for the Molding Department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, follows instructions accurately, and is comfortable operating machinery. Using strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety, the new team member will ensure accurate material blending, maintain equipment, and support efficient production while upholding quality standards.

Location: Tomball, TX 77375
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• The Blender is responsible for blending materials that will then be used in the Molding process, enabling the Molding department to complete all orders.
• Essential Duties - Blending
• Read blending orders and collect the necessary raw materials for each individual blend, weighing and measuring materials to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Operate or tend machines to mix or blend a wide variety of materials for specified times and temperatures.
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Document and assign lot and batch numbers per QMS and label, store, and inventory.
• Clean and maintain equipment.

• Additional Responsibilities
• Assist the molding department when needed.
• Operate and programs ovens and board mounding.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Inventory Control
• Monitor inventory levels to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Use inventory orders to obtain the appropriate materials from the warehouse, making sure to double check the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
• Utilize all raw materials and finished products to reduce waste within the company.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Administrative
• Document materials, quantities, and trace numbers on the order packet per Eagle's QMS, when required
• Requisition merchandise from the purchasing department, based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials.
• This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• No certifications or licenses are required for this position.
