Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Litigation Associate Attorney, based in the Greater Houston area. The attorney will handle a range of litigation matters, including but not limited to preparing legal documentation, conducting extensive legal research, appearing in court, and providing legal advice to clients. Responsibilities also involve negotiating resolutions, drafting contracts, and offering strategic guidance to clients on labor and employment law cases and business matters. The ideal candidate will have taken and/or defended multiple depositions and actively participated in trials.


Qualifications

  • Trial and deposition experience. Experience in managing cases from end to end.
  • Expertise in Commercial Litigation and the ability to address related issues effectively.
  • Strong skills in providing sound legal advice and strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Experience in legal research to support both courtroom arguments and client consultations.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, including resolving disputes and effective communication with opposing parties.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the state of Texas required.


Salary

  • Salary range of $150,000 – $300,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
