We are conducting a confidential search for a lawyer to join a leading, globally active midstream energy infrastructure platform. The organization is focused on building and managing a diversified portfolio of large-scale energy assets across international markets.

Reporting to the General Counsel, this role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value transactions spanning acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
• Advise on and execute project finance transactions, including debt financings and related structuring matters
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and transactional agreements
• Provide legal support across project development and operational matters
• Partner cross-functionally with business, finance, and executive teams
• Manage external counsel and coordinate multi-jurisdictional matters

MUST HAVE Candidate Profile Criteria:

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar admission
• 7–11 years of legal experience, (ideally with 3+ years with an AmLaw100 law firm)
• Significant experience in energy and/or infrastructure transactions
• Demonstrated experience in M&A and/or project finance
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and deal execution skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

• Exposure to LNG, midstream, or large-scale energy projects
• Experience supporting cross-border transactions
• Prior in-house experience within an energy or infrastructure company
