About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This position drives the successful execution of insulation and construction projects from initial estimate through completion. You will leverage your expertise in estimating, project management, and cost control to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled but also adaptable and eager to take on diverse responsibilities as company needs evolve. You'll play a key role in coordinating bids, managing client and supplier relationships, and overseeing project execution to ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for insulation and construction projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from technical drawings and specifications.
- Use Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and QuickBooks for estimating, documentation, and reporting.
- Source materials strategically to achieve best value while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Create and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and support material procurement.
- Develop detailed budgets, schedules, and cost-control strategies to track project performance.
- Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Oversee the bidding process, reviewing plans and contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with field teams to incorporate on-site insights into project planning.
- Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Track project progress, resolving cost or schedule issues proactively.
- Collaborate across departments, remain flexible to shifting priorities, and take on new responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Proven background in construction or insulation estimating and project management, with proficiency in Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or similar software.
- Languages: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).
- Technical Skills: Mechanical drawing interpretation, cost estimation, logistics, purchasing, and project controls.
- Professional Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities with a client-focused mindset.
- Personal Attributes: Highly organized, analytical, and flexible, with a willingness to learn new processes and take on evolving responsibilities.
Work Conditions & Expectations
- Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday.
- Hours determined by the General Manager / Vice President and customer demand.
- Overtime may be required in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
Physical and Cognitive Requirements:
- The position may require the ability to sit, stand, walk, or move between work areas for extended periods.
- Frequent use of computers and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform mathematical calculations.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
