We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential HVAC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, clearly communicate issues to homeowners, and recommend effective, honest solutions to ensure comfort and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
• Identify root causes of system malfunctions and performance issues
• Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Clearly explain technical issues to customers in a professional and understandable manner
• Provide accurate repair options, recommendations, and cost estimates
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
• Maintain detailed service records, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
• Test system performance after repairs to confirm proper operation
• Educate customers on system maintenance and energy efficiency practices
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in residential service
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerant handling
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
