Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Houston team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and can confidently support customers with technical products.

Candidates with experience in electrical equipment, power distribution, or industrial products are strongly preferred.

Salary: $45,000 – $60,000 annually

What You'll Do

• Manage incoming customer inquiries while providing excellent service and product support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions, particularly related to electrical equipment and systems
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting and follow-up
• Support Outside Sales and collaborate with internal teams
• Work closely with Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, and Operations to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate customer records
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
• Assist with inventory coordination and basic project management

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of inside sales experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with electrical equipment, power distribution, or industrial products strongly preferred
• Ability to quickly learn technical products and support customer applications

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (OT as needed)
• Location: Houston, TX
• Minimal travel required
• Reports to: Inside Sales Manager
