A company is looking for an Inpatient Audit Specialist.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct inpatient coding audits on medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and other coding referencesProvide coder education and prepare final reports for coding auditsMeet with client facility representatives to discuss audit findings and trendsRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in coding and auditingAssociate or Bachelor's degree from an AHIMA-certified HIM or Nursing Program, or completion of a certificate program from AAPC, with a preference for CCSPreferred credentials: CCS, RHIT, or RHIARecent experience in academic/level 1 trauma centersExperience with various software including EMR, Encoder, and Auditing software
