Job Summary

Performs adulticiding and larviciding procedures using hand sprayers and mechanical spray units mounted on trucks.

Duties, include, but are not limited to:

• Collects mosquito and larva samples using various sampling techniques.
• Conducts various surveillance and observation procedures by land and water, including conducting landing rate counts in designated areas such as marshes, ditches, and rice fields.
• Assists with light traps, and cleaning shop.
• Collects rainfall data, including reading rain gauges.

Qualifications

• A valid Driver License
• Any applicant conditionally selected for this position will be required to submit to a physical, background and drug testing, before commencing employment
