Mig WelderLocation: ConroeSchedule: Full-time MondayFriday: 7:00 a.m.4:00 p.m.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join the team of our client located in Conroe. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with MIG welding in a production or fabrication environment. This role focuses on assembling and welding metal components according to specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality welding using MIG processes.Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.Measure, cut, fit, and align metal components prior to welding.Ensure welds meet specifications and quality standards.Use grinders, plasma/oxy-fuel torches, measuring tools, and other welding equipment.Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols.Perform visual inspections and minor fit-ups as needed.Assist with layout and fabrication of metal parts.Document and report any defects or issues.Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDMinimum 2+ years of MIG welding experience in a production or fabrication environment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld drawings.Proficient in shop math, including fractions, decimals, and measurements.Experience with measuring tools, grinders, and cutting equipment.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
