Description

Seeking a Bilingual Unarmed Security Guard to provide general security for a galvanizing plant on nights and weekends.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

• Check in/out all vehicles entering and leaving the plant
• Patrol the plant scanning all checkpoints as required
• Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, and take appropriate action to resolve situations while adhering to company protocols
• Monitor production equipment and top of chemical tanks after shift working hours and on weekends
• Minor maintenance duties
• Monitor employees coming in/out of plant and log in/out times if time clock is not in operation
• Light record keeping
• Must stay alert and report incidents as they happen
• Act as a point of contact for visitors, employees, and contractors, assisting with directions and information as required
• Uphold company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
• Excellent observation skills
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work timely
• Clean background
• Must show up to work on time and give ample notice if you will be missing a work shift
• Must be lawfully permitted to work in the U.S.A.
• Must be willing to work major holidays and in all weather conditions
• Good communication with other guards and supervisors

Schedule:

• Full-Time, Hourly Position
• Rotating Schedule:

7 days straight night shift (6:00pm - 6:00am)

Saturday & Sunday (6:00am - 6:00pm) every other week
