Job Title: Security Receptionist (Temporary)
Location: Spring, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Temporary (anticipated duration: several months)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Security Receptionist to support the main lobby of a large corporate office in Spring, TX. This is a temporary assignment covering for an employee who is currently on an extended leave and is expected to return in a few months.
This role serves as the first point of contact for employees, executives, board members, visitors, vendors, and contractors. The Security Receptionist is responsible for maintaining a professional front-of-house presence while ensuring strict adherence to corporate security and access control procedures. Upon completion of this assignment, the individual selected will be considered for other available opportunities .
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary lobby security and reception point for the client's global headquarters
Greet all employees, executives, board members, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner
Manage visitor check-in and check-out procedures, including:
Verification of identity
Issuance of visitor badges and access passes
Ensuring compliance with client security requirements
Coordinate closely with internal client contacts to notify them of visitor arrivals
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees via email, Microsoft Teams, and Slack regarding visitors, deliveries, and lobby activity
Monitor and manage access control systems to ensure access is granted only to authorized individuals
Operate security technology including access control systems, video management systems, and CCTV (Lenel experience strongly preferred)
Maintain accurate visitor and activity logs in accordance with client policies
Respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed; while the role is primarily sedentary, the ability to react quickly and follow emergency protocols is required
Perform all other lobby-related security and reception duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
Security (client-facing)
Corporate reception or front-of-house
Concierge services
Customer service in a professional/corporate environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with security access control systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced corporate environment
Proven ability to interact professionally with all levels of leadership, including executive leadership, CEO, and board members
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Lenel access control systems
Experience with video management systems / CCTV
Previous experience working in a corporate headquarters or high-profile office environment
