Hai Hospitality and LORO, Asian Smokehouse + Bar, is accepting applications for Server Assistants / Servers.

The Service Assistant role is the backbone of our Front of House team. You'll help maintain a high level of service by keeping a close eye on thedining room, expo line, and bar. Service Assistants are key players in delivering food, supporting the team, and creating a seamless guest experience.

We're offering flexible scheduling and are open to both part-time and full-time availability. We're happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits!

$500 Sign-On Bonus
Paid in two installments:

• $250 after completion of training
• $250 paid 45 days after training completion

Service Assistants typically make ~$500 per week in tips, and there is strong opportunity for growth within the team - including the ability to move into a Bartender role with increased responsibility and earning potential.

What you'll do in this role:

• Learn our menu, current specials, and cuisine - we'll set you up for success
• Build your knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails through peer-led training
• Stay active and present on the floor, supporting service and completing side work
• Bus and reset tables, polish glassware, and stock supplies
• Support bartenders and servers to enhance the overall guest experience
• Deliver food to guests while confidently describing each dish
• Receive, organize, and deliver curbside orders

Basic Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
• Lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements
• Ability to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as ovens, grills, and knives
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace, including proper storage of supplies and cleaning of surfaces
• Move quickly and efficiently to respond to customer needs
• Ability to work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area
• Tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors
• Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance, including proper uniform and personal grooming
• Understand directives and communicate effectively with Leadership and coworkers
