Measure, cut, fit, and install insulation materials (fiberglass, mineral wool, calcium silicate, ceramic fiber, foam, or similar)
Insulate piping, vessels, tanks, ductwork, boilers, and other industrial equipment
Remove and replace damaged or worn insulation
Apply protective coverings such as metal jacketing, vapor barriers, or weatherproofing
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
Follow proper procedures for hot, cold, and cryogenic insulation systems
Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor or indoor industrial settings
Use hand tools, power tools, and insulation-specific equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, site-specific rules)
Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other trades
