A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary-aged students in the Houston area. This position offers a chance to work directly with young learners across multiple schools, providing valuable speech and language services to help students reach their communication goals.

Location: Tomball, TX (serving two elementary schools in Conroe, TX)
Contract Duration: April 10, 2026 - May 22, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days a week
Caseload: Itinerant role serving two elementary schools, with potential to add a third

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to support elementary-aged students' communication needs
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the therapy team to optimize student outcomes
• Travel between assigned schools to deliver direct therapy services

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure to work as an SLPA
• ASHA SLPA certification preferred
• Ability to obtain TEA fingerprints and meet credentialing requirements promptly
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting is preferred
