Assistant Professor - Accounting

The position will be with the Cameron School of Business, and the start date is August 2026.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses.
• Engaging in scholarly work and providing service activities as needed by the department and the university.
• Conducting student advising and mentoring.
• Executing excellence in teaching and maintaining a commitment to the university's mission.

Education and experience qualifications include:

1. A terminal degree (or evidence of ABD) in the teaching field or extensive practitioner experience
2. Professional certification (CPA preferred)
3. A cover letter addressing qualifications for the position
4. Curriculum vitae (CV)
5. A statement of the philosophy of teaching
6. Three professional letters of recommendation
7. Graduate and undergraduate transcripts
8. A reflective statement or response on Ex Corde Ecclesiae

Preferred qualifications include teaching/research experience in one or more of the following areas: Auditing, Taxation, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Accounting, or Managerial Accounting.
