Job Details

CNC Plasma Operator to adhere to SSLP procedures and maintain the highest degree of quality and customer service, meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations on a daily basis.

Essential Duties
1.Set up table with correct material, using proper consumables, burning speed and other parameters to burn required pieces with a minimum of waste.
2.Interpret work orders and drawings; be able to program the machine to cut pieces correctly.
3.Maintain equipment in proper working order
4.Fill out required paperwork, delivery tags
5.Continuous Quality Assurance checks to maintain integrity of all customer orders.
6.Finalize Work completion i.e. final inspection of material quality and quantity, packaging and labeling

General Duties
1.Operate forklift to move material
2.Display the ability to use basic measuring devices, including tape measure and micrometers
3.Use of PPE required in such area
4.Perform basic maintenance of CNC Table and maintain a clean and safe work area

Minimum Requirements and skills
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
Ability to stand, lift, climb and perform various other physical functions
Must be able to handle, lift and move steel parts up to 50 lbs
Position requires and complete physical agility, mobility and dexterity
Display the ability to accurately use basic math skills
Basic computer literacy. Candidate is familiar with Windows, Email, Word
