Job Summary
Will safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed to move material between semi trucks, the warehouse, and the assembly line
Ensures all materials are labeled properly and will safely pack quality products to ensure they are delivered on time to the customer
Will keep track of orders and dispatch shipments to meet the customer's requirements
Manages all materials to a FIFO (first in, first out) method
Maintains the work environment in a safe manner and ensures it meets all 5S standards
Other duties as assigned
Essential Functions
Material handling of products using a forklift
Handle materials by helping in the operations department/cross-training in production
Other assigned duties set by the operations manager as needed
A High School Diploma is preferred
3-5 years of experience driving a forklift and following all required safety measures
Dedicated, self-starter with a high degree of motivation
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
Have the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40lbs
Have the ability to work in all weather and facility conditions
