Litigation Associate - Houston, TX

Commercial, Employment & Tort Defense

Salary Range: $185,000-$225,000 (depending on experience)

A nationally recognized litigation group is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Houston office. This roleoffers a unique mix of commercial litigation, employment defense, and personal injury/tort matters within a highly collaborative team.

The position involves representing corporate clients in contract disputes, business torts, wrongful termination, discrimination, and high-exposure personal injury defense. Associates are trusted with case strategy, client contact, and hands-on litigation responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Manage civil litigation from intake through resolution
• Defend employers in state and federal employment matters
• Handle personal injury and general liability defense
• Draft motions, conduct discovery, take depositions, and appear in court
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices

What We're Looking For:

• 3-7 years of experience in commercial litigation, labor & employment, or personal injury defense
• Texas Bar admission
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Prior experience handling depositions and dispositive motions preferred
