Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury
Location: South Houston
I am working directly with a well-established plaintiff personal injury law firm that is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to handle auto accident and premises liability matters. This is a full-time, in-office position for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation responsibility and long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities
• Independently manage a docket of auto accident and slip-and-fall cases
• Handle cases from filing through resolution, including trial when necessary
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Serve as second chair at trial; first-chair trial opportunities available over time
Requirements
• JD and active Texas bar license
• 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience preferred
• Experience handling auto accident cases required
• Second-chair trial experience strongly preferred
• Will consider attorneys who have handled cases through pre-trial and are trial-ready
• Seeking junior to mid-level attorneys; senior attorneys are not the target profile
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive base salary starting at $100,000+, depending on experience
