Job Title: Mail Services Associate
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite 5 days/week)
Duration: January 15, 2026 February 27, 2026 (Possible extension and potential conversion to full-time employment (FTE)
Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

Team Overview

• Work as part of a mailroom team with ongoing guidance and support
• Responsible for mailroom operations within a building or campus environment

Position Summary
As a Mail Services Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of the mailroom operations for a building or campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Deliver mail throughout the building/campus on scheduled routes
• Interact professionally with internal customers and respond to inquiries
• Use basic office software for tracking, communication, and reporting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure mailroom environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Prior mailroom experience (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills (in person and via phone)
• Comfortable working in a downtown office environment
• Ability to lift, push, or pull:
  • Up to 20 lbs regularly
  • Up to 50 lbs with team assistance
• Ability to walk at a moderate pace for 45 minutes to 1 hour, twice daily
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Technical / Software Skills

• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Teams
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Word

Education

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
