Job Goal:

To assist in providing excellent service to customers through a reliable, accurate, and efficient delivery system of products to clients in support of the ESC's mission and strategies

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

Three years working in inventory control within a warehouse environment

Special Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Proficiency in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, eFinancePlus, and escWorks.
  2. Basic mathematical skills
  3. Strong interpersonal communication skills
  4. Ability to organize and execute multiple tasks to ensure efficiency and accuracy (e.g., order placement, customer inquiries, back-order procedures, etc.)
  5. Ability to maintain confidentiality
  6. Exemplary problem-solving skills
  7. Acute attention to detail and data accuracy
  8. Bilingual preferred
Major Responsibilities:
  1. Restock ordering from vendors so that appropriate quantities are available for order fulfillment.
  2. Provide internal and external customer-friendly support and technical assistance, including order acknowledgments, quotes, back-order/ETA updates, and documented order changes.
  3. Process customer orders received via the online store and email, verifying order accuracy and ensuring that authorized payment methods are secured and processed.
  4. Generate pick tickets for product orders and ensure accuracy by verifying alignment with customer orders. Reconcile online submissions and emailed purchase orders or quotes to prevent errors and resolve any discrepancies before fulfillment.
  5. Prepare complete billing backup at ship/close (order details, authorization/PO or card confirmation, pick ticket/packing list, and approved changes) and coordinate with Business Services to support timely andaccurate invoices.
  6. Coordinate with other warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate customer product ordering and fulfillment.
  7. Coordinate timely pickup, delivery, billing, and payment of all utilized shipping avenues to include UPS, FedEx and TForce.
  8. Assist inthe development and implementation of ongoing feedback systems and surveys to collect customer feedback, using the results to improve procedures and increase customer satisfaction.
  9. Provide all warehouse products and supply quotes to customers internally and externally as needed.
  10. Continuously monitor customer product inventory levels and reorder set points as needed, communicating any concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor to review.
  11. Run all warehouse accounting eFinancePlus reports before, during, and after each inventory count.
  12. Serve as backup to the Warehouse Supervisor as necessary.
  13. May be required to assist other personnel with supply orders and inventory counts under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors/ Mental Demands:

Prolonged computer and desk work with frequent screen time; periodic walking to warehouse areas for order reconciliation; occasional standing and walking; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting; ability to pack, move, pick up, and relocate boxes weighing up to 50 pounds as needed; may work prolonged and irregular hours including Saturdays and some evenings as needed; work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under pressure.
