Flooring Specialist

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours) Area: 77070 Pay: $17-18hr Position Overview:

Operates hand grinding and small equipment, performs manual labor, joint fill and repair, and handles decorative concrete. This role is within the Operations Concrete Department Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties related to concrete grinding, polishing, restoration, and repair, as well as coating applications.
• Operate machines and equipment used in the concrete polishing process
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and ensure all equipment and materials are stored neatly and orderly
• Ensure equipment usage and safety standards are followed per OSHA guidelines.
• Support team members on all aspects of the scope of work, including equipment/office and fleet maintenance.
• Inspect completed work for any potential quality risk.
• Maintain productivity to meet the required project schedule.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with crew members.

Requirements & Competencies:

• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
• Must be honest, responsible, trustworthy, and hard-working
• Bilingual
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Requires strenuous physical work, including heavy lifting, working on hands/knees, pushing or pulling objects, and working in certain dust conditions.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $18.00
