A leading oil and gas services company is seeking a Spanish Bilingual Senior Human Resources Generalist to support and manage key HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate is a trusted, detail-oriented HR professional with strong bilingual communication skills and broad generalist experience. Working collaboratively, the new hire will strengthen daily HR operations by handling recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee relations while ensuring compliance and supporting company culture initiatives.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely, accurate, concise, relevant, and complete information to the HR Director for strategic planning purposes.
  • Own payroll administration for exempt and hourly employees in the Insperity HRIS system.
  • Hiring personnel and partnering with the HR Generalist in the recruitment process. Train, administer, and overlook the interview process in partnership with the HR Generalist. Work and collaborate with the HR Generalist to fill open positions in a timely manner. Negotiate and prepare offers for new hires.
  • Support and own the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Benefits administration for all company programs. Ensure that all Benefits are explained to the candidates and new hires. Conduct open enrollment meetings annually.
  • Administer medical, dental, life insurances, cafeteria plan, short/long term leaves, and ADA leaves.
  • Review and approve billing for all benefits invoicing.
  • Administration of the 401K program; 5500, new hires, terminations, deferral contributions, meetings, etc.
  • Administer and complete all employee records.
  • Ensure the proper administration of the Human Resources Information System and personnel file system.
  • Update and manage new hire and termination files in a timely manner.
  • Assist with educating the staff regularly on Human Resources policies for the company.
  • Conduct training sessions throughout the year to bring awareness and education of our policies.
  • Assist in the coordination/follow-up/maintain/complete records of company- sponsored visas for associates.
  • Attend to employees' requests (verifications of employment with Insperity.).
  • Administer health, safety, and security issues for the company. Provide awareness in Workman's compensation and health programs throughout the year.
  • Prepare, as needed, for internal and external audit requirements related to Human Resources. Conduct internal audits; payroll, personnel files, benefits, 401k, I9s, and other areas where necessary.
  • Prepare employee termination notices and related documentation.
  • When requested conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind employee separations from the company.
  • Ensure the organizational chart of the company is regularly updated.
  • Assist in coordinating the results with the annual culture survey.
  • Assist with the coordination of the performance appraisal program.
  • Organize internal workshops and internal training programs assigned by the HR Director.
  • Work closely with all personnel in the HR department to keep the lines of communication open and discuss areas of improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology or related field
  • SHRM certification is a plus
  • Fluent in English/Spanish; Speak, read, and write
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, hands-on role
  • 2+ years of experience with payroll systems, benefits administration, and recruitment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional writing, listening, and presentation skills
  • Exercise good judgment and decision-making aptitude
  • Teamwork, collaboration, motivation and inspiring others to constantly improve their performance
  • Must keep confidentiality at its highest standards
  • Patience with interactions, negotiations, opposing opinions, and challenging situations
  • Constantly adhering to the company's code of ethical behaviors
  • Must have HRIS software experience, proficiency MS Office suite, HR administration platforms, Federal and State laws compliance and knowledge
  • Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Supply Chain, or Legal is a plus
