Maintains patient safety for patients at risk for self harm including but not limited to thoseon suicide precautions, those at risk for falls, or to keep medical tubes and lines intact. Protects the patient's dignity at all times. Contacts nursing staff immediately of any concern regarding the patient's condition. Provides comfort measures. Prepares patient for meals, feeds patient and offers fluids as appropriate and verifies withnursing staff. Observes standard precautions and aseptic techniques. Job Requirements. High School Diploma or a GED equivalent. BLS issued by The American Heart Association.
