RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc., is looking for a Freight Payment Coordinator. The Freight Payment Coordinator's primary objective is to manage the freight accrual exception process for rail shipments and activity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage freight accrual exception process.
* Identify empty and tariff rates as needed and upload into database
* Utilize EDI 404/417 to confirm Payer of Freight as needed
* Manage accrual without invoice exceptions
* Resolve accrual and invoice non-match exceptions. Dispute as needed
* Create ad hoc reports
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in rail operations, freight payment or accounting
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* General understanding of accounting practices
* System savvy (prior ERP experience or Rail TMS experience highly preferred)
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
