Position Summary:

The Gauge Lab Technician is responsible for calibrating gauges, inspecting hand tools, and adjusting gauge intervals in accordance with API specifications. This role ensures traceability records are created and maintained, linking back to NIST standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure safe working practices.

* Maintain and calibrate gauges.

* Manage drift inventory.

* Conduct receiving inspections of critical parts.

* Audit production lines.

* Document calibrations and gauge repairs.

* Maintain housekeeping standards in the gauge room.

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

* Thorough understanding of API specifications related to tubular goods.

* Experience or training in the care and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.

* Proficiency in API Thread Gauging.

* Strong communication skills and ability to maintain historical records of gauge certifications and repairs.
